Lisa Linfield takes us through her Big Hairy Audacious Goal of leading One Million Women into living a stress-free money life and why she is passionate about Working Women's Wealth.

This first podcast episode outlines the goal to reach one million women and educate them about money before she dies.  Realising that this is impossible face to face, the Blog, Podcast and video series were created.

The aim of the podcast is to

  1. Interview amazing women who have done great things. Normal people, committed to a vision, who are DOING it, and not just talking about it. We find out how they did what they set out to do, and what they learnt along the way.

  2. Educate about different themes regarding money, leadership, succeeding in the work place and managing that work life tussle on your time.

  3. Answer any questions you may have recorded on our voicemail service on LisaLinfield.com

I want to start with what might be a little bit of a controversial question, what happens if we're not actually as unique as we think we are? What happens if out there somewhere is someone else who has gone through a very similar circumstance to you and who has a few scars to prove it and can share with each of us what they did in order to make this journey a little easier? What lessons they learned, what potholes they fell into? I'm Lisa Linfield, and for me, I have a lifelong learning passion. I really believe that there are so many amazingly talented women out there whose journeys can provide so much insight to us, and can really teach us a lot about life's lessons; learning, leadership, working, parenting, what it takes to be successful in corporates, what it takes to be successful as an entrepreneur. I think there's so many valuable lessons we can learn from listening to the stories of others.

As part of this podcast, my goal is to teach a million women about how to manage your wealth better, your life, your leadership, your business, your journey through this amazingly great and challenging period of life. Each season of our life is different. Each season brings us something that is unique to it. In each season, we play a different role. Sometimes it's young, up and coming hot shot. Other times it's mum of a newborn child unable to really engage in much besides looking after their baby's really primal needs.

There's another season just around the corner. For me, I think part of it is looking at what is our purpose, and what is our journey through each of these seasons? And how do we actually learn from others who have walked this pathway in life? This podcast is for all of us who are intentional about learning and listening to other people's stories. Who are wanting to have more success and fulfillment either in their corporate work or in the entrepreneurship, running their own business. Who want to understand how to lead themselves, their families, their children, because leadership is truly quite a universal lesson. Also, those who want to learn how to stretch their pennies a little further, where to start when it comes to money, how do you get out of debt? What debt is good? How do you start investing? What happens if I'm already investing and I want to get a bit further in that journey?

I really do believe you can teach yourself wealthy, you can teach yourself leadership, you can teach yourself many amazing lessons that being great at something requires hard work and passion. But we can all be really good at a lot of things with learning from other people and putting in the effort. I really would love you to take this journey with us. Subscribe to our podcast so that you can get the weekly episodes. Also, visit us on Working Women's Wealth and ask that question that you've wanted someone to answer. Take care.
